The PreSonus Eris E8 XT is an active two-way 8-inch nearfield studio monitor, the largest in the popular Eris XT line and built for accurate mixing with deep, controlled low end. It is sold individually so you can build stereo or surround systems.
An 8-inch woven-composite (Kevlar) woofer pairs with a 1.25-inch silk-dome tweeter set in a custom EBM (Elliptical Boundary Modeled) waveguide, driven by 140 W of Class A/B bi-amplification (75 W LF + 65 W HF). A larger ported enclosure reaches down to 35 Hz, the waveguide widens horizontal dispersion to 100 degrees for a broad sweet spot, and acoustic-tuning controls cover HF and mid trim, Acoustic Space and a low-cut filter.
