64 large RGB pads with velocity and polyphonic aftertouch handle expressive finger drumming, melodies and clip launching, with Note and Chord modes and Scale mode keeping everything musical. The built-in four-track, 32-step polyphonic sequencer offers patterns, scenes, probability and mutation for evolving hardware sequences, while dedicated mixer, device and clip controls make Live feel like hardware. Custom modes map anything via Novation Components.

When used with one of Ableton’s Drum Racks, Note mode can be used for triggering percussion parts in 4x4 grids too.
