The Novation 61SL MkIII is an advanced MIDI and CV keyboard controller with a built-in eight-track sequencer, designed to be the hub of a hybrid studio that spans software and hardware. Its 61 semi-weighted keys and deep connectivity let it drive a DAW and a rack of synths from one place.
The synth-style, individually sprung semi-weighted keybed adds assignable aftertouch and an exceptionally high 10 kHz scan rate for expressive playing, with on-key RGB LEDs showing scales, modes and zones. Sixteen velocity-sensitive RGB pads with polyphonic aftertouch handle clip launch, sequencer steps and finger drumming, while eight knobs, eight faders and five colour screens give hands-on control. The eight-track polyphonic sequencer and per-track arpeggiators run standalone, in or out of the box.
