Overview

The Nord Piano 6 is the latest generation of Nord's flagship stage piano line: 88 grand-weighted keys, dual piano and dual sample-synth layers with independent effects, and a redesigned panel with LED faders for immediate hands-on control.

The premium Triple Sensor keybed with Nord's Virtual Hammer Action tracks every keystroke at three points for authentic dynamics. Two independent Piano layers draw on 2 GB of the Nord Piano Library (grands, uprights, electrics; 120-voice polyphony, Advanced String Resonance, Dynamic Compression, Unison), while two Sample Synth layers share 1 GB of the Nord Sample Library with attack/decay/release, mono/legato/glide and unison modes. Every layer gets its own effects — modulation, amp simulations, 3-band EQ, compressor and delay — plus a 6-algorithm reverb, all with seamless sound transitions and an OLED display.

The Nord Triple Pedal 2 is included, enabling Pedal Noise and dynamic sustain. At 19.2 kg it stays genuinely portable for an 88. DjLab supplies genuine Nord in Lebanon with USD pricing, warranty handled locally, and fast delivery.

MusicRadar

“The big take-home is the overall playability of this wonderful keyboard, we simply got lost for hours in the enjoyment of playing”: Nord Piano 6 review | MusicRadar

“The choice of sounds, particularly on the pianistic side, are exemplary, but when you couple this with the keybed, it’s a stunning performer, which could threaten the crown of the much loved Stage (depending of course on whether you need the organ sounds!). If you find yourself gigging, the Nord keyboard case (available separately) will help with carting around of a large keyboard, and you can of course downsize to 73-notes with no loss to the feel, other than the removal of several kilograms from the loading on your back! ... Roland’s classic pianistic controller, with great action and SuperNATURAL Piano.”

Nord Piano 6: Who Needs a Nord Grand, Anyway? - gearnews.com

“Some effects are also new. To start with, the Nord Stage 6 now also gets the Spring Reverb from the Nord Stage 4. Other new effects include new delay modes (filter, flam, ping pong) and new variations for the amp sims. ... As before, the Nord Piano 6 is available with 88 or 73 keys.”

Nord Grand review: After 5 Months of Daily Use...

“I find myself using the “Royal Grand 3D” sound all the time, with the Reverb on and set to Stage and set to 2 on the dial. On the Piano section, I have pedal noise on, soft release and string resonance both on, timbre set to mid, keyboard touch set to medium, and (of course) the panel locked – with the angled controls so close to the keys, it’s quite easy to change a setting or suddenly be playing Bach on a bassoon.”
