The Monkey Banana Mangabey is a large-diaphragm tube condenser microphone in white, bringing genuine valve warmth and multi-pattern flexibility to studios at a price that undercuts the usual tube-mic suspects.
A 34 mm condenser capsule feeds a hand-selected 12AX7 triode for the rich, full character only a real tube delivers, across 20 Hz to 20 kHz with a healthy 135 dB max SPL. The dedicated power supply selects nine polar patterns — omnidirectional, cardioid, figure-of-eight and six intermediate states — adapting one microphone to vocals, instruments, rooms and stereo work. It ships complete: PSU, shockmount, 7-pin cable and protective case.
