Standard redefined The professional RMX-95 4+1 channel club mixer blurs the lines between analogue workflow and digital technology. The RMX-95 is a cu The master output offers RCA or balanced XLR cable connections. The booth output has two jack connections for stereo operation. However, it can also be used in mono mode.

A recording device can be connected to the Rec output via RCA jacks to record DJ sets – regardless of the master output level. The club mixer has a familiar and user-friendly interface, making it suitable for both professional and hobby DJs. The dedicated FX frequency control (LPF/HPF) lets you apply the effects to a specific frequency range for a more unique sound.

“That means a mono cable running from the left output of your DJ controller to the left speaker, and a similar mono cable running from the right output to the right speaker. You do the same with anything else you may want to use them with. There’s a choice around the back of XLR, TRS (both balanced) and RCA (unbalanced) inputs, so you may need to get some adaptor leads to get everything plugged in correctly, depending on your gear.”

“There’s always a weak point on headphones, and normal abuse will find that out quickly. I did the usual stress testing, and bar an obvious extra stiffness of the headband, I can’t see an obvious weak spot. Even the headphone cable connects with a mini XLR, which should be stronger than conventional mini plugs.”

“The Reloop RMX-80 has lots of inputs and outputs to satisfy most DJ’s setup needs. There is a Left/Right Return and Send quarter inch jacks for external effects modules. Each of the four channels has fader start MINI inputs and a CD/Line level RCA pair. Channels one and four have an additional Line level RCA input while channels two and three have phono-level RCA inputs and grounding posts for vinyl decks. All of the outputs include: Balanced XLR Master, RCA master 2, Record RCA, and BOOTH TRS.”
