Focusrite Scarlett 18i16 4th Gen Audio Interface
The Focusrite Scarlett 18i16 4th Gen is a desktop-format USB-C audio interface with 18 inputs and 16 outputs, designed as a multitrack hub for project studios. It brings 4th Gen Scarlett sound to producers who need to integrate plenty of hardware with their DAW.
Four 4th Gen Scarlett preamps, with up to 69 dB gain and Air (Presence and Harmonic Drive), feed converters with a 122 dB dynamic range, with eight line inputs for synths and grooveboxes, Hi-Z instrument inputs, MIDI I/O, and ADAT plus S/PDIF digital connectivity for extra channels. Separate mixes for headphones, monitors and line outs are managed via Focusrite Control 2 on desktop and mobile, with Auto Gain and Clip Safe for fast setup.

“The only difference between the two new i16 models lies in the number of preamp-equipped input channels they offer: 16i16 has two whilst the 18i16 has four. Their design and desktop enclosures make them appear essentially as beefed-up versions of the 4i4, albeit with a more generous analogue in/out count and the inclusion of S/PDIF and ADAT digital connections.
