The AIAIAI TMA-2 S10 is a detailed-tuned speaker unit pair with built-in Bluetooth wireless, bringing cable-free listening to the modular TMA-2 system without a separate wireless headband.
The bio-cellulose diaphragm drivers are voiced for AIAIAI's 'detailed' signature — defined high-frequency detail, pronounced midrange and natural tonality — while the integrated Bluetooth electronics and controls let the units themselves handle wireless playback. They slide onto any TMA-2 headband tool-free, wirelessly upgrading an existing headphone in seconds.

“The speaker unit contains a diaphragm that is precision-grown from NAC Audio bio-cellulose, making it stiffer, lighter and stronger than regular PET speaker units, and allowing the sound-producing diaphragm to vibrate without the levels of distortion found in other speakers. Each of these qualities results in more accurate and detailed sound from the speaker with the ability to retain clarity of sound at high volumes. ... The earpads I tried were the alcantara design. Thus, the justification for the kit's $350 price is essentially a combination of its drivers and its AptX HD compatibility—the headphones support AAC, AptX, AptX HD, and SBC Bluetooth codecs, and are compatible with Bluetooth 4.2. “In the case of this “HD preset”, the box contains the following: the new S05 HD speaker, with a driver diameter of 40 millimetres, a relatively low impedance of 32 ohms and a maximum sound pressure of a remarkable 113 dB (according to the manufacturer’s specifications). TMA takes pains to highlight the fact that the S05 uses a membrane made of bio-cellulose, which is supposed to be lighter, stiffer and stronger than regular membranes made of PET plastic – so obviously we were excited. Looking around Aiaiai’s website, we noticed that the different speakers also have different sonic characteristics: from S01 (punchy), over S03 (warm) and S04 (vibrant) to the present S05-HD transducer, whose qualities are described as “detailed”.
