The Arturia MiniBrute 2S is the sequencer-focused sibling of the MiniBrute 2: the same semi-modular monophonic analog synth engine, but with 16 backlit pads and a deep step sequencer in place of the keyboard. It is built for pattern-based, hands-on electronic music.
It shares the dual analog oscillators, the 2-pole Steiner-Parker filter (low-pass, high-pass, band-pass and notch), the Brute Factor knob, ADSR and loopable AD envelopes and two LFOs. The performance section adds 16 velocity-sensitive pads, each paired with an endless encoder, for entering Pitch, Gate, Velocity and Pressure per step, giving flexible, evolving sequences. A 48-point CV/Gate patchbay makes it fully re-patchable and ready for Eurorack or a RackBrute.
