“With the KeyStep 37, they introduced a pattern mode as option 7, which is by far my favourite arp mode on any device I’ve ever encountered. In pattern mode, it just seems to generate a sequence of notes that sounds great. Whenever I want to try out some sounds or demo a synth I throw on arp mode 7, hit some keys, and it’s perfect.
